Public Caution Notice / Fraud & Impersonation Alert

The customers and general public too are hereby cautioned about unknown and unauthorized persons, entities, websites, mobile applications, social media accounts, messaging groups, emails, phone numbers and other communication channels falsely impersonating and misrepresenting themselves as being associated with, affiliated to, or acting on behalf of Jar.

These fraudulent actors may misuse or imitate Jar's name, trademark, trade dress, logo, brand identity, website layouts, mobile application interfaces, marketing content and materials, communication formats, employee details, domain names, intellectual property, photographs, documents, or other publicly available information to deceive members of the public and unlawfully induce payments, investments, account access, OTP disclosures, KYC submissions, remote device access, or sharing of confidential financial or personal information.

Important Advisory

  • Jar conducts business only through its officially authorised platforms and communication channels.

  • Jar operates a legitimate e-commerce mobile platform for sale of precious metals, wherein every transaction constitutes a concluded contract of sale, a separate and proper tax invoice is generated for each purchase and sale, payment is made exclusively through UPI, ownership of the precious metal passes to the purchaser immediately upon completion of the transaction, the precious metal is sourced from accredited third-party vendors, and storage or delivery is arranged through independent third-party logistics and vaulting entities at the option of the purchaser.

  • Jar is not a deposit- inviting / taking entity. Jar does not request, solicit or accept any amount of money by way of an advance, deposit, financial assistance, investment, loan, or security, with or without any benefit in the form of bonus, interest, profit, or in any other form.

  • Jar does not demand, request, solicit or accept any payment of transfers whatsoever to personal bank accounts, individual wallets, or unofficial payment handles.

  • Jar does not contact customers through unofficial, unverified, or personal calls, applications, social media accounts, or links / platforms.

  • Jar does not request customers to disclose or share confidential credentials including OTPs, CVV numbers, passwords, UPI PINs, internet banking credentials, or complete remote screensharing / access requests.

  • JAR does not guarantee assured returns, instant approvals, investment schemes, cash rewards, or promotional benefits.

  • Any communication purportedly made on behalf of Jar through unofficial or suspicious channels should be treated as fraudulent unless independently verified through the Jar's official contact details mentioned below. Jar cautions that any interaction initiated or conducted outside its official systems, including communications originating from unverified or manipulated sources, is not attributable to Jar under any circumstance.

Public Safety Measures

  • Access Jar only through its official website, mobile platform, and verified communication channels. Jar's official email domain is changejar.in only and any email from a different domain is not from Jar; and should be reported to Jar immediately without responding to the same.

  • Verify the authenticity of all communications only through Jar's official website and verified social media handles, before responding or transacting.

  • Carefully check website URLs, domains, email addresses, application publishers, social media handles, and sender details before acting on any communication.

  • Do not click on suspicious links, download unverified applications / files, or scan unknown QR codes or share confidential information.

  • Do not transfer money or disclose sensitive financial / personal information to unknown persons.

  • If you have already responded to, transacted with, or shared any information with a communication, or detected any suspicious activity, please immediately contact Jar's official fraud helpline and change your Jar app credentials out of abundant caution; and may also report any suspected criminal activities to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Any communication originating from any other source, domain, number, account, application, or platform should not be presumed to have any association with Jar unless expressly verified by Jar through its official channels.

If you receive any suspicious communication, impersonation attempt, fraudulent request, or become aware of any unauthorized use of Jar's name or identity, please report the same immediately at the above fraud reporting email address along with relevant screenshots, transaction details, phone numbers, URLs, emails, or other supporting information.

Disclaimer & Reservation of Rights

Jar hereby expressly disclaims and denies any association, affiliation, endorsement, authorization, agency, partnership, representation, sponsorship, or connection with any fraudulent person / entity engaging in any acts of impersonation, deception, phishing, cheating, misrepresentation, unauthorized solicitation, or unlawful collection of monies or information.

Jar shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, claim, fraud, misuse, unauthorized transaction, or consequence arising from interactions, communications, or transactions undertaken by any person with unauthorized third parties falsely claiming association with Jar, contrary to this public advisory and outside Jar's officially verified channels.

Jar will take appropriate measures and coordinate / work with law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, intermediaries, etc., to identify and act against such fraudulent activities and unauthorized use of its intellectual property and brand assets.

Jar reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law, including civil, criminal, regulatory, equitable, and injunctive remedies, without limitation.

Members of the public are advised and urged to remain vigilant and exercise appropriate caution at all times.
